Homanna ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Homanna mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials via Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In).

Communication Data

With your explicit permission, the App accesses the following data on your device:

Each permission is requested individually and can be denied or revoked at any time through your device settings. The App functions with reduced capabilities if permissions are denied.

Voice and Audio Data

When you record voice notes or when the App processes call recordings, audio is transmitted to our servers for transcription using Deepgram, a third-party speech-to-text service. Audio files are deleted from our servers after transcription is complete.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage data to improve the App, including feature usage patterns, error logs, and performance metrics.

To generate AI-powered insights, summaries, and action items
To send you notifications about calls, follow-ups, and reminders
To improve the App's features and performance

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

All data is transmitted using TLS/HTTPS encryption
Data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore with Firebase security rules
Authentication is handled via Firebase Authentication
We do not store raw audio files after transcription is complete

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained in your account for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data stored in the App
Revoke permissions at any time through your device settings
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Disable integrations (SMS sync, call recording) at any time from the App settings

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
