The Homanna Data Ownership Pledge
-
1
You own your data. Your contacts, conversations, deals, and notes belong to you. Export everything, anytime. Cancel and take it with you.
-
2
Encrypted with your key. Your data is encrypted with a key that's yours, kept in a hardware key vault. In our database, it's unreadable ciphertext.
-
3
Once shredded, it's gone for good. After you shred your data, it can never be accessed again — not by you, not by us, not by anyone. There is no backup, no recovery, and no exception.
-
4
No human at Homanna reads your data. Your messages and contacts are processed by automated AI to do what you asked — never read or reviewed by a person. Our encryption and key management keep the content unreadable to our staff.
-
5
You hold the kill switch. Revoke your key in Settings → Privacy & Security. After a 72-hour grace period, every message, contact, and note is cryptographically shredded — permanently unreadable by everyone, including Homanna.
-
6
We will never sell it. Not to data brokers, not to lenders, not to anyone. We don't have a "monetize your contacts" business model and never will.
-
7
We will never market to your clients. Homanna talks to you, never to the people in your phone. We won't advertise to your clients or surface them to anyone else.
-
8
We are not a portal and we won't feed one. Your data is never shared with Zillow, Realtor.com, or any portal or competitor. There is no parent company looking over your shoulder.
-
9
We don't train shared AI models on your data. Your messages are used only to do the job you asked. They are never used to train a general model, and our AI providers' terms hold them to the same.
-
10
If our promise ever changes, you'll know first — in plain language, before it takes effect. No quiet policy rewrites.
Under the hood
How we protect your data
Encryption everywhere
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256) on Google Cloud Platform.
Your own encryption key
Your sensitive content — messages, contacts, notes, voice transcripts — is encrypted field-by-field with a key that's yours, held in a hardware-backed key vault (Google Cloud KMS). Anyone looking at the raw database — including a Homanna employee — sees only ciphertext.
Our staff can't read your content
Support can see your account details — your name and email — but never your messages or contacts.
AI & your data
Two AI providers, only to do the job you asked
- •
Google Gemini reads context and drafts your messages. We use the paid Gemini API, under terms that state your prompts and responses are not used to train or improve Google's models.
- •
Deepgram transcribes your voice notes. We send an explicit opt-out of model training on every request, and your audio is not retained for training.
Your data is never used to train shared or general AI models. And AI drafts; you decide — Homanna never sends a message on your behalf without you reviewing it first.
In your hands
Your rights & controls
- •
Export all your data, anytime (Settings → Privacy & Security).
- •
Revoke your key & shred — one tap permanently scrambles all your data after a 72-hour grace period (cancel anytime in the window); afterward it's unreadable by everyone, including us.
- •
Delete any record — or your entire account — permanently.
- •
Revoke access to texts, email, or contacts independently.
- •
Ask us anything about how your data is handled and get a straight answer.
- •
Your personal life stays personal. Homanna surfaces real-estate activity. Messages with family and friends aren't your business with us — and they aren't ours either.
Who touches your data

- •
Google (Gemini) — AI drafting/analysis (paid API; no training on your data)
- •
